1995 Pontiac Grand Am sometimes car wont start

The car runs fine most of the time but sometimes, after it has been driven awhile, it will not crank. Sometimes it takes up to an hour before it will crank up.

Are you saying the starter won't make any noise, when the problem occurs? Make sure the battery has a full charge and the cables/wires are clean and tight on both ends.

If it cranks good but won't start, you can check for codes, you can check for spark at the plugs with the engine cranking.
