Computer problem
1998 Plymouth Voyager 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My minivan stats and runs fine at times and other times it will turn over and then just die. The alarm system light is blinking and I believe that is the problem. I have been told I need to reset the computer. But how?
Thank You,
Rachael

Hi Rachael,

It could be a lot of different things causing the problem for you. Do you have an aftermarket or a factory alarm system? Does the alarm light flash when the vehicle runs correctly?

If you want to have the computer reset, stop at a nationally recognized parts store (Auto Zone, Advance.) And ask them to scan the computer for codes. They will do it for free. Also, if there are any codes in the computer, let me know what they are so I can help identify the problem. When they finish the scan, ask them eliminate or erase the codes.

If you have any other questions, let me know.

Joe
