The first suggestion is to check for diagnostic trouble codes. You don't need a scanner for this vehicle. Here is a link that explains how it's done:

Next, I attached the wiring schematic below for the ignition system. First, power to the coil with the key both in the run position and in the start position.
Next, check to make sure there is no damage to the PIP wiring and spout wiring. (spout = spark out and PIP stands for profile ignition pick-up (a fancy name for a cam sensor located in the distributor). It isn't uncommon for the spout wire to fail.
Since you have already replaced the TFI module, if all wiring appears good, test the EEC relay in the under-hood fuse box. If it is failing, it will shut down spark and fuel, so listen for the fuel pump to actuate.
If everything above checks good, remove the distributor cap, and make sure the rotor turns when the engine is cranked. If it does, suspect the PIP in the distributor is bad.
