Hi,

Code 54 indicates there is low voltage to the fuel pump, but that won't cause a no-start condition. I want you to try something. See if there is any response from the engine if you use starting fluid. If it fires and then stalls, we know its fuel related.

The other codes won't cause a no-start.

If there is no change when you use starting fluid, then I need you to locate the red wire at the ignition coil. See pic below. With the key in the run position, check that wire for power.

Let me know what you find.

Joel,

I reread my post. If there is low voltage to the pump, that will likely cause a no-start. You indicated there is power to the red wire. That is a good thing. That tells me that the ignition coil is getting power, so there is a good chance we have spark to the plugs. If you want to confirm that for me, it may help.

So, low voltage to the fuel pump will cause low fuel pressure. There may not be enough pressure for the injectors to actuate. So, we need to check the fuel pressure or access the fuel pump and check the voltage being sent. Checking pressure is much easier. LOL

Here is a link that explains how it's done:

I attached the manufacturer's fuel pressure specs below.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
