Engine stopped while driving, Didnt sputter and die, just cut off. Can crank engine but wont start. Sprayed carburetor cleaner in carburetor still no start. Replaced distrubutor cap and rotor, no luck. Replaced coil still wont start. Any suggestions where to go next? Its a work truck I really cant afford to take to shop. Thanks.

I sprayed carb. Cleaner into carb to see if it would fire and try to start. It did nothing.

The carb cleaner you used may not be flammable

Got spark, blue spark from coil, yellow or orange from plug.
Replaced fuel pump, fuel pump relay last month. Truck ran for a week. Then came out of store and wouldnt start. Replaced the modulator, truck ran untill the other day, when it died driving it.

The spark should still be blue at the plug.

I'm suspecting the module right now.

Most auto part stores have a machine that will test them.
Now it's not an end all, be all test.

If it passes the test, it could still be bad.
But if it fails the test, then it definately bad.

I'm still leaning towards the module.

How did you test for spark at the coil?
