Hello,

It sounds like you have a fuse out or the fob has gone out. I would stat with the fuses.

Here is a guide to get you started:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-a-car-fuse

Below are the fuse locations.

Check out the diagrams (below).

Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken

Door locks lock and unlock on their own by their self sometimes when I'm driving sometimes when I'm just in the car accident and turned on on the same page to drain my battery. What do I could undo the fuse to make that stop and just unlock my doors manually?

Good morning,

This sounds like the body control module.

When you command lock and unlock, the signal goes to the body control module and then the module commands the locks to work.

When it malfunctions, it does this exact issue.

I would have this checked with a shop to confirm. They need to access the module and watch the commands.

My automatic door locks seem to be possesed during the heat and humidity of the summer months. They have a tendency to lock and unlock constantly.( Even when the car is turned off and the key is removed. )I have checked all of the fuses and they are all good. Just this week my interior buttons stopped working also.
Canyou help me? I realy can not afford to take it to a dealership.

I had the same problem in my volvo. The locks would pop up and down intermittantly and rapidly. The issue may be in the key fob. Try taking it for a drive and leaving the key fob at home. Worth a shot.

Got a few steps for ya. 1) pull the panel on the pass floorboard near the center console, disconnect the wiring harnesses and the 30a fuse, install die-electric grease and then re-install, then test lock. If that doesn't work 2)remove driver and passenger door panels remove corner piece, 2 screws behind door panel handle, & slightly pry panel off from bottom-up and remove both window switches, & install grease. Without re-installing panel, retest lock. If this does not work 3)replace window actuators & window switches. You can buy switches at O'Reilly, but youll have the get the actuators online or at the dealership.

I have a 2008 chevy malibu that has door locking/unlocking problems. When I press the lock button it only locks the right rear door. Same with the unlock. The problem is the same using the key-fob. Thats today, sometimes this changes where none of the locks work properley.
I was told it is the lock actuator. Is there one on every door? Please help!

Yes there is. Remove the panel. Youll see the actuator assys. You may be able to lube the lock linkage with penatrating oil to repair.
