1993 Nissan Sentra brake and battery keeps lighting up on t

I have a 93 se-r sentra
on the dash the 'battery and brake' light
keeps lighting up, but after driving for a while it goes away but comes back. Eventually it goes away for good. Both of them light up and turn off at the same time.

does anyone know what my problem might be?

Get the alternator checked out there's a problem within your charging system

I just had a new alternator put on it about 4 months ago and its brand new

should I still get it checked out?
