Anti-theft device will not let car start

Six cylinder two wheel drive automatic 125,000 miles.

I replaced the starter and had to take out the battery to do this. Now the car will not start. I am only guessing but I believe it is the anti theft that will not let it start. The lights come on but the electric windows, seats or radio will not work. When I turn the key there is no clicking no nothing. The anti theft light blinks. I no longer have the car remote. How do you disable the anti theft?

Hello,

Disconnect the battery for thirty minutes and then connect it. Next roll up all of the windows and lock the car let it sit for another thirty minutes. Unlock the drivers door using the key or fob. This should reset the alarm.

Please let us know what happens.

If the problem persists I would check the drivers door latch. There is a small micro switch inside the latch that tells the security system when the door is closed it sounds like it is not working.
