Put a new crate motor engine in my vehicle that I bought from a local shop, and now it will crank and start but wont idle. It just shuts off quickly. I get codes 1125 and 1295 on my obd reader. Which i believe is acceleration pedal position system and electronic throttle control power management mode. Does this mean I need to do a throttle relearn on my vehicle to get it to run? or any suggestions would be helpful. I need to get this thing running badly and I've had a shop look at it and even they were not able to get it going. I need help desperately.

I doubt a relearn will correct this but it could. However, I would run through the testing for both of these codes and see what it turns up. The reason is, there is no specific throttle relearn as a battery disconnect is all that is needed. You can try that but again, I think we need to go through the testing to find out what could be causing this.

Please let us know what you find with this. Thanks
