Sorry, I meant to get back to you earlier. It is probably factory with those wires coming through like that, because only a manufacturer would do that, really.

Not sure what is going on with the car. I had the ECU tested and they said it was good. Then I checked the pig tails they are fine. I could not find a wire burnt in two or any other damage. Did find a fuse on one side did not make contact but on other side did and on top made ground.

You will need to go over the wiring power ground and connection to make sure we do not have an open or shorted wire somewhere. Here is a guide to help you get the job done:

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find.

Hi guys, I know it has been awhile sorry about that. I wanted to give you an update on the car. I was able to get the fuel pump to kick on again, but the car still has not been started. Going to try to start it tomorrow after I fix issue with fuel pump assembly not all the wires on the fuel pump assembly was put back right my sisters husband had it apart testing the wires in the fuel pump assembly today and for got to plug them in correctly. So tomorrow I will be taking it apart to fix that and then I will try to start it now that everything seems to be working right again. After tomorrow I will have three days to work on it so that is a plus. It will be nice having some time to myself to get the car fixed. I am working on it and my 2001 Dodge at the same time, but my Dodge is almost fixed now, I just need a driver side fender and headlight assembly for it then it is done. I found some will cost about $200.00 for them. I forgot I need new back bumper to I been working on that and the Eclipse but trying not to over whelm myself with that Eclipse. It is hard for a big guy like me to work on something so small. I wanted to thank you guys again for being so nice and caring and all the help you have given. Thank you Ken and Heyman I appreciate all the help you two have been you have helped me a lot on this issue.

I hope I do this car has been a pain in my butt for awhile. The people I bought it from was treated it poorly and then when I got it I started fixing everything I found wrong with it and I think that is why it messed up. It did not know how to act being taken care of. All joking aside, I think what happened was the car has a after market hood with air vents that catch air and pull air into the engine bay helping it keep cool, but water every time it rains gets in there as well and gets into the fuses and relay plus the ground is in there as well both frame ground and the ground to the transmission was getting wet and causing them to corrode. I think that is where the problem started I will be fixing the hood to where water cannot get in it. In the future was thinking about making a home made fiber glass hood put the vents where I want them and how I want them if I decide I want to keep vents. I am not sure if I want the vents or not they seem like they can cause massive issues that is unwanted.

Yes, water causes all kinds of issues whatever you can do to stop the leaks and seal things up would be beneficial. I do not like to see everything misused so I feel ya.

I need help with this car once again. If you guys do not mind here is what happened: I had these last three days off work so I spent it working on the car and I got it to start up then it back fire and shut off. Now it will not start. I looked at all the sensors and throttle position all that all the sensors look fine. I made sure they was all fully plugged in but I am once again at a loss with this car. Is this still a electrical issue? I am not good with electrical on vehicles.
