I have already had several problems with my car - one of which was my alternator died on me. Before this was happening I was getting belt squeaks every time I started my car and with each day the squeaking would last longer and longer. Then it would squeak WHILE I was driving the car...
I decided to take it to my mechanic and on the way to my mechanic my car died while it was squeaking - alternator died...
I got the alternator replaced and recieved a new belt ect...
All was good for I would say a month... (I don't drive very much maybe 100 miles a week)
Then it started to squeak a little when I turned it on...
But it is now 5 months later and it squeaking everytime I turn it on and starting to squeak like it did before - WHILE I DRIVE!
I don't want to buy another alternator then another alternator then another alternator...
Am I being paranoid in thinking my alternator is going to die again?
I just don't know what the cause could be...
What I can do...
Or anything else =-(
