mazda miata

hi i just recently bought a 1992 mazda miata and once i got it home and started to drive it the alarm went off and the person whom i bought it off did not have the litlle beeper thing that shut it off is there a way to shut the alarm off or un install it from the car?

Get it reset or take the security guard system out to prevent future mishaps.

Its not a DIY thingy-you need a Mazda dealer or an automotive electrician that knows how.

When the Auto theft deterrent is activate it will diasable a certain circuits to prevent it from starting and alerts you by sounding off theft on progress.
