Will not start after taking apart column and using a flat head screw driver to start it

Lost my key to my vehicle now it's starting with a flat head screwdriver, but went to get it to start it and it won't turn over.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

When you say you took the column apart, are you referring to the entire steering column or did you just remove the tumbler (where the key goes)? The switch is behind the tumbler. Take a look at picture 1 to see the switch assembly. Picture 2 shows the exploded view of the steering column. What was taken apart. Picture 3 shows where the tumbler is located.

I need to know what was done, where you placed the screw driver, and what the exact symptoms are.
