The car started a habit of cutting power while accelerating up hill and when I stopped and restarted the car, it runs again for a distance and then repeats it. You feel it losing power and then finally stops. When you rest it for less than a minute and start it again, it runs again and then after a short distance, it repeats the same thing. I have replaced the fuel pump, air flow mass sensor and air filter but the car still has the same problem. What could be the problem with my car? Some advice, will be grateful.

Hello,

The first thing I would do is run the codes Here is a guide to help you get the job done.

If no codes are present then I would check the catalytic converter here is a guide to help with that as well.

Please run some tests and get back to us.

Cheers, Ken
