About 1 month ago my car codes said misfire and I had the coils replaced 3 of them. After that my vsa light came on. A few days later I'm driving my brakes lock up and brakes are smelling burnt and i can barely accelerate. Went to Honda dealer they disconnected the vsa plug and abs plug and said drive it home. I had it towed to my dad's where he chanted the front calipers and hoses . He reconnected the abs plug and vsa. It got to 20 miles an hour and start locking up again. Not sure if I need a regular full car mechanic or a brake one . I need to most inexpensive at this time.

Hi,

Honestly, if you find someone that is only good at replacing brakes, he / she most likely won't figure this out for you. For some reason the VSA control module is causing issues. At this point, we are starting to get into the computer controlled systems. When you had it at the dealer, by any chance did they tell you what the diagnostic trouble codes were (if they scanned it)?

Let me know.
