2001 Honda Accord, is experiencing huge lack of power, if the a/c is on the engine will stutter when it hits 3000 rpm kind of like its bouncing off of the rev limiter. It will not do it if the engine is cooled. Only if the a/c is on or if I have been driving for a long period of time. I need to replace the O2 sensor. I was told also that the spark plugs and wires could be old. I feel that maybe the car is running on 3 cylinders. What could be causing this?

I AM SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING THAT YOUR TRANSMISSION IS CAUSING THE LACK OF POWER. WHAT ARE THE CODE NUMBERS ITS THROWING? A O2 SENSOR SHOULD NOT CAUSE A LACK OF POWER.

P1166 and 1167 is o2 sensor heater malf. The o2 sensor needs to be replaced. And im really thinking your transmission problem is the cause of your lack of power.

When trouble codes are detectd by the engine management system, it can result in PCM reverting to fail-safe mode and when this occurs, the rev limiter can be reduced to less than 3500 rpm.

A faulty O2 sensor can result in lack of power, more like minimal or no response from the throttle. I would suggest rectifying the O2 sensors faults and retest.
