Hello,
For a vehicle that is not designed to use LEDs, it can have issues like flickering. This is due the LEDs having less resistance than the standard bulb it replaced.
Many aftermarket LEDs come with built-in resistors to mimic the factory resistance that the circuit will need. This will prevent the flickering or any 'light out' warning on the dash.
The best solution is to find LEDs that are designed that way.
Another option is to add inline resistors to the harness. The type/size of resistor will depend on the type of LED and vehicle.
However, those resistors are typically designed to work on turn signal lights.
I have seen special LED harnesses that are available by specific make and model. You also might want to contact where you purchase the LEDs from, they might have a solution.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
