Heater Works, Defrost doesn't

The blower for the heater turns on, but the defrost blower doesn't work. I get heat and air conditioning.
I've checked my fuses.
Do I need to look at connection problems?
If so, how?
What other suggestions?

sounds like the defrost mode door is jammed or broken !
