I have had the breaks checked twice and the dealer tells me there is 97% of the break pads left and they can not fine any problem? The breaks make a LOAD squeeking noise, but they can not fine anything wrong? WHAT could it be ? The Jeep only has 11,000 miles on it... It is very nerve racking...??? Jeff

Hi there,

Often disc rotors can glaze up, this is a combination of heat, brake pad material and brake operation, normally a light disc skim will remove the glaze and no more squeaks. Ask you mechanic to check for this.
