Excessive shuddering

I have a 1989 Jeep Cherokee Laredo the rear end shudders like crazy at around 55 to 60 mph. But it seems to be happening just as I let off the gas. Any Clue?

You didn't mention the mileage, but it sounds like the backlash adjustment. Unless youre used to rebuilding rear ends. Take it somwhere or get another one and replace the whole unit.
