I have a 2003 Jaguar X type it has a 3.0 engine and is all wheel drive and it has 83000 miles on it. My question is what kind of special tools will I need to remove the brake calipers in the front.

I don't normally use one, but also haven't worked on a Jag x-type either. The retaining bolts must be a torque to yield bolt as your supposed to replace them after removal. The bolts are probaly a 13-17 mm head as a guess. You'll know when you buy the bolts.
