I HAVE A 2002 HYUNDAI ACCENT 1.5 LITER, 72,000 MILES, MANUAL TRANSMISSION.

THE CAR STARTS INTERMITTINGLY. THE CAR CRANKS BUT DOESN'T ALWAYS START.

I HAVE HAD THE TIMING BELT REPLACED 6 MONTHS AGO.

I HAVE PUT NEW SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES ON, CHANGED THE FUEL FILTER, INJECTION CLEANER WAS ADDED, BUT AM STILL HAVING PROBLEMS.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS NOT ON.

Hi there,

You will need to have an ECU code read done, but I would be looking at the crank angle sensor these are a problem with hyundai's for some reason.
