I have been completely unable to find anyone who can give me a answer for this - the other day I came home to find the driver's window on my 2003 Acura RSX down. At first I thought a thief has broken in. However, my alarm was still active, there were absolutely no marks of any kind on the door, window, ignition, or steering column - and all my valuables in the car were still there. The window also would not roll back up. (The motor was working, but it made a clanging sound - also the window itself was not broken) I can't begin to explain this, as the car was never on (the window shouldn't even work without the car on/auxilliary) and it does not seem to be the work of an attempted theif. Have you ever heard of such a thing happening? Is it possible for an electrical malfunction to open a window while the car is off? Why would the window not roll back up?
I am currently having the car repaired, but Acura has not been able to provide any type of explanation. Any input is appreciated!
