wiper arms

hi, i have a 1997 honda civic lx, i am trying to take off the wiper arms off. i have taken off the nuts on both wiper arms.....but can seem to pull them out... is there some kind of tool or some diff way i can take off the wiper arms? thank you for the help

Push firmly down at the bottom of the arm thanmove it left and right should loosen it
