I do I take off the timing belt

Hi shelvy,

Seems you have proved me wrong, sorry about that.

To remove the timing belt, you need to remove the outer beltings, crankshaft pulley and timg belt if you have not already done it.

Turn the crankshaft until you can see the top mark on the cam sprocket at top most part. Take note of timing mark on cam and crankshaft.

Release the timing belt tensioner bearing bolt, slacken the timing belt by pushing the bearing away from the tensioned part then retighten the bearing bolt lightly to prevent it from creating any tension.

You can take the timing belt out now.

If you need to replace the oil seals, you need to remove the cam and crank sprocket. I would recommend replacing the water pump at 1 go.
