1998 Honda Civic Replacing Struts

Suspension problem
1998 Honda Civic 4 cyl Manual 123, 00 miles

I took my car to Brake Specialists and they say I need to replace my struts that they are original to the car. They gave me an estimate of $865.

Do I need to have this done and is there a way to get it done cheaper. I live in Cedar Park, TX. Thank you for your help.

Hi Taye0204,

Struts would wear over time and if there are no leakages, the struts would still be usable but driving comfort and stability would not be as designed.

Prices varies place to place so the the ideal option is to get a second or third opinion to get the best deal.
