Battery problem

Hello,

It all started when my car had a gas emisson problem. I fixed it ( at least, I think.) By replacing the Distributor and Rotor. But I dropped the rotor and I had to remove the battery to pick it up. But when I put it back, it blew the fuse. So I replaced it, it blew again. And again. A mecanic told me that it could be due to something still on in the car causing the battery to send a high charg to the fuse. Or it Short-circuited.

So, before I get it checked, any tips?

Thanks.

I think you have in your endeavors to find the rotor grounded the positive lead off the battery. I would examine it closely, replace, remove and examine, whatever. The problem will probably be found along that cable.
