I HAVE A HONDA 2002 THAT HAS ACCELERATION PROBLEMS. WHEN MY CAR IN AT A STOP AND I PUSH ON THE GAS PEDAL IT KIND OF PULSES FOR A A FEW SECONDS TO ACCELERATE. I HAD A BROKEN ENGINE MOUNT FOR A WHILE NOW CAN THAT BE THE PROBLEM BUT THAT I CAN REMEMBER I THINK IVE HAD THE ACCELERATION PROBLEM BEFORE THE ENGINE MOUNT PROBLEM. BY ANY CHANCE DO U THINK I CAN CHANGE THE ENGINE MOUNT MYSELF

Hi muneca16,

The engine mount and hesitation should not be related.

Hesitation are mostly due to misfiring and can be due to bad spark plugs or related components such as ignition coil, plug wires and distributor components.

Except fr the rear engine mount, the others are relatively easy to replace and would not be a problem if you are mechanically inclined with the correect tools.
