Good day. Vehicle was running prestine until shortly after recent fuel fill-up. Approximately 50 miles after fill-up, the engine started running rough on a drive home. (Noticed it at a red-light). At idle, it feels like it is missing. Lower speeds, it is rough, higher speed/rpm, seems to be fine.
plugs are good, wires are good. Is there a way to check the O2 sensor, egr, or any other item that may cause this to 'just appear'?
I have no codes yet. (I haven't found the way to jump the obd pins IF that is an option)
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi Kenny,

You need an OBD-II scanner to retrieve the codes.
To test if it is the EGR, disconnect the EGR valve vacumn and test.

Missing at idling are usually due to shorted spark plugs, bad wires, distributor cap or rotors and would not be caused by EGR.

It could be bad gas that you had filled.

I put a scan tool to it yesterday, and all that came up were cylinders 1, 2, 3 misfiring. (I have the codes written down, but not with me at the moment)
My egr appears to only have an electrical connection, and not any vacuum lines. I will look again to verify.
Also, new cap, rotor, plugs a month or so ago.
Any idea of the ohm readings for those wires?
Thanks to all who respond.
Kenny
