220,000 miles, Manual Trans, Carborated, 1988 Accord cranks over but will not start without a push that gets the car over 10-15 mph. I have new plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Once car is warm, it starts 80% of the time. I have to park on hills---THIS SUCKS! I'm a disabled veteran with bad knees and back. Please help. Expert needed

If it cranks over but does not start yet will start by pulling or pushing it, two things come to mind. First, is that the car is not turning over fast enough, thus a starter or battery charge issue. Second is the cabling to the starter is corroded or bad from the battery to the starter.

Thoughts from one disable vet to another.
