Will not start after fueling

Car wont start after getting gas. dealt with this for years. I just want to know can this eventually cause issues with my transmission.

Just to be sure I understand, after you fill the vehicle with fuel, it will not start?

If so, more then likely the purge valve is sticking and needs to be replaced. This is due to getting fuel in the charcoal canister and it breaks down the charcoal and this gets stuck in the purge and it hangs open and then when you fill the tank, it pushes more vapor into the engine and it actually floods the engine.

I would go ahead and replace this part and go from there if this is what the issue is. If this solves the issue, then the next thing is to replace the canister as well as you probably have fuel in it and that will cause the new solenoid to fail as well.
