Bought the car it was running at the time, he claimed it was a problem with the security unit. Which is why this aftermarket alarm was in it to maybe bypass but wasn't specific. I don't know much about cars, but I can read and follow directions. I did a regular tune up and found oil on spark plugs. Changed valve cover gasket, replaced spark plugs, she started drive around the block she shut off. Removed alarm burnt a red wire. Now crank no start. No fuel pump unless jumped and no spark. I think help me.

Hi,

Did you cause a red wire to burn or was it already burnt? Also, where was it located or what components did it go to? Does the starter still engage?

Let me know.

Joe

I'm not quite sure if the starter engages fully, I know it spins and I burnt the red wire and I believe it goes to the alarm relay. Sorry for the late reply.

Also, I removed the passenger floor well to get to the PCM and noticed a few wires spliced together with one missing and thought it's a ground. So, I grounded it and now I'm getting 12 v to my crank and cam sensor where it wasn't before but will verify that's the reason and will be posting some pics soon.

Hi,

If the starter spins but doesn't engage with the engine, the Bendix is faulty. If possible, record it and upload it for me to hear.

Let me know.

Hi,

If you see the belts turning, the starter is doing its job. I need to hear it cranking to make a determination.

Let me know.
