Occasionally while driving with the air-conditioner on, the driver side front vents will begin blowing hot air, while all other vents are blowing cold air. To correct the flow of air, I can turn off the vehicle and re-start and the cold air then flows on both sides. It does not happen all the time and does not seem to be related to the distance driven.

Thanks

The individual temps are controlled by electric motors called actuators. These actuators have potentiometer in them that feed position info back to the control head. It may be having a problem with the signal back but it's going to requir the use of a Tech2 scan tool to be able to diagnose it properly.
