I have a 2002 GMC Sierra, with approimately 250 000 km on it. It has been extremely reliable and I am very happy with it's service. However, it now makes a noise. The noise seems to be coming from the blinker coloumn, and it just randomly ticks, sometimes for long periods of time. This tick is identical to that of the blinker, but ther blinker doesn't go on. Does the fuse need replacing, or is it a more serious issue?

It sounds ike you have a turnsignal/hazard flasher that is going bad. I have seen where they get weak and will click on and off at times....

Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it. Will the repair be costly?
