power steering pump

I have an 03 silverado and need to no how to get air out of the power steering system. I had to take the lines off and now i can hear air in the gear box and the steering sucks.

you can remove air by turning wheels slowly all the way to right, then left. go slow or you will foam up the fluid and still have air in. if fluid is foamed up let sit and cool down then refill and turn wheels again.
