1998 GMC Jimmy 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

my jimmy was running rough, and then one day I went to leave and it started, put it in reverse and it began to move but then just died on me. It turns over and sounds like it wants to start but wont. Is there a fuel reset switch? What do I do from here? Checked all the fuses and there fine, Its just not getting fuel. What do I do.

First you need to verify which of the necessary components you are missing for the engine to start, this is either air, fuel, compression, or spark, mostlikely you have compression, because it was running, so check for spark and fuel. Also you may want to take a look at the air box for any restriction. Then get back to me
