1997 GMC C1500 engine cranks but wont start

I came to stop and engine died. I have spark at sparkplug. I recently replaced fuel filter. How do I test fuel pump for proper operation?

Hi:
You need a fuel pressure tester. If there are any nationally recognized parts stores near you they may lend or rent the tool to you. Just follow the directions it provides.
