This is has been a proglem for awhile, I thought it was resolved after I replaced battery, but it started zapping this one too. Initially thought it was a light in the glove box that was lit, not the case. It started before with a jump and kept the charge, now it won't hold the charge after running for awhile, and the battery makes no noise, no click. I want to be able to take it to a mechanic with an idea of the problem because last time they were like oh it was just your cable. I checked the cable when I replaced the 1st not so old battery. The cable is tight and clean, what else could be the problem?
Thanx

Hello - run over to Auto Zone or O'Reilly's and for free they will bring a tester out to your car and they can check your battery, alternator and starter. Next, for free, have them check the car for codes.
Next, it could be several things but it needs to be narrowed. This initial check is the start. If the alternator is not putting out the required voltage, then it is not properly keeping the battery charged. Also make sure your cables have a really good contact. Check the entire cable for breaks, wear, burn spots. But first, do the above. If the problem is the cables not having good contact and you clean them, then that will hide the issue when check. First to the AZ or OR's thing, then check the cables and let us know.
