It will flood if you dont' have fire. See if there is spark at the dist cap from the coil. If you do then it's probably a rotor or distributor cap. If not you'll have to check the switch in the distributor or see if there are any engine codes.

It is either the

1. The distributor cap and rotor

2. Or the IGNITION CONTROL MODULE. CHANGE IT
