Your fuel filter is located under the vehicle on the leading edge of the fuel tank, behind the fuel filter shield. Mounted in a bracket.

Thank you for your response. We found the location and we had a heck of a time getting the old one out, but we finally did and the new one is in its place. I have my fingers crossed that my problems have now been solved.

Is there something wrong with your vehicle? The most unsuccessful advice to car problems is change the fuel filter. I would estimate that 99% of the time it is a waste of time/money. The filter can be checked for blockage by disconnecting at motor end and turning pump on and watch the flow of fuel. Unless it just dribbles out the filter is not clogged. And if it does dribble out it could mean a bad fuel pump instead of a bad filter.
And you also should know that you must releive the fuel pressure in system before trying to change filter. And it requires a special tool to release the couplings.

The filter is located under passebger side in front of gas tank. There is a metal heat shield to be removed first and then a plastic 1 to gain access to filter.
