The car runs but while driving when I give it gas it would cut off not the entire car just the speedometer starts going down like it is going to cut off. The longer it runs the worse the car starts and run. Have noticed some overheating not all the time just randomly. Only couple times. I am thinking relay needs replacing but it could be anything coil, pack fuel injectors, EGR valve. I do not know.

Hi:
If the engine loses power and the check engine light is not coming on, I would consider simply trying a fuel filter to see if it is plugged. It sounds like it is losing fuel pressure which is allowing the engine to lose power. As far as the overheating, can you explain what happened, the conditions?
