That sounds like the power steering pump. I would stop by a shop and have them listen to it to confirm.
If it is the pump, I would start by having the power steering fluid flushed out. It could be dirt or debris in the fluid causing the noise.

I took it to the mecanic, he said my pump and fluids are fine, and that he doesnt relate the sound to a bad rack and pinion or anything, he said its more of a rubbing sound on the steering wheel and told me to lubricate the intermediate shaft and other parts

Okay.
There is an upper jacket bearing you cannot access. If the noise is at the top of the steering wheel, the steering wheel and lower components have to be removed to access.
If it is the lower then you can spray it from the outside.
