2003 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 48xxx miles

I've got an '03 Taurus SE with the 3.0L Vulcan engine. Lately it seems as though there has been a leak underneath the engine dripping down onto the concrete, and when I drive I can smell a faint burning smell. Right after I drive, when I pop the hood, smoke's coming out of the engine bay. It smells sort of like that rubber-burning smell.

I realize this may not be a lot to go on, and sorry about that, but I've been trying to figure out what's wrong with it, and would appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks for your time

Hello,

Ok first off can you tell what kind of fluid it is? Tranny, Engine, Coolant, Power Steering or Brake.

Also were under the car is it leaking, example - front passenger side by wheel, rear engine area of firewall on driver side.

Here are a couple possibilities.

Leaking Valve Cover Gasket - Dripping on exhaust

Leaking Intake Manifold Gasket

Leaking Head Gasket

Hole in Tranny Line blowing onto exhaust.

Hole in Power Steering Line dripping on exhaust or blowing onto exhaust.
