I have an oil leak. Seems to be coming out the front of the engine. Leaking and smoking because it is leaking on metal. Can see leaking on ground. Oil leak.

The leak on my 1999 Taurus is to the left on the bottom top of motor. Right under a the last bolt to the left. I can see it coming out when car is on. Its like pressure making it come out. Do not see a leak when car is off.

Hello,

This sounds like it could be the oil pressure sensor. Here is a diagram (below) of its location so you can check it out.

The sensor will leak and run down to the bottom of the engine, use a flashlight to confirm.

You may need to raise the car

Please let us know what happens.

After putting the gasket on. The oil leak is ok, but now my fans won't. Come on making the car run hot. Fans were good until then Now a friend. Says its thermostat and freeze plugs. Will this solve the problem? Another friend who works on cars say its needs a fan motor. HELP. Thanks.
