Try inspecting the Camshaft belt, if your engine is dual-overhead, you have the camshaft belt and the water belt (which is the smaller one ) -Which is exactly where you are hearing noise from. To inspect it, remove the camshaft manifold, and turn the engine on and look for defects on the belt and check any noises. If it is faulty the water belts run at about 15 to 25 dollars. I bought mine from autozone for 18 bucks, I own the same vehicle you have. The other problem you could have is bad brake pads, or dry suspensions? It will really help if you can describe the noise your hearing.
