2000 ford taurus leaks

i have a 2000 ford taurus. My car has been driving "off" today. When i stopped to take a look i heard a psshing noise from under the passenger tire and it is also leaking water from the same spot. any ideas??

you mean water or coolant? are you using air conditioning? does it make noise with motor off?

i think its water, but i couldnt be sure. and the ac doesnt run..just the vents on cold. when the motor is cooling down it sounds like air pressure being released where the leak is.
