My friend has a 91 ranger he uses as a plow truck. It ran when he parked it in the spring, now it will not start. It's getting spark and gas is getting up into the injectors. He did give it some starting fluid and it will run a few seconds until that's gone but will not take the gas from the accelarator. Could it be the computer or is it something simple?

I told my friend it might be the fuel pressure even if gas is getting up to the injector it may not be at correct pressure. We will also check injectors and fuel filter. Thanks again.
