dpfe sensor

I have Mercury sable my check engine light is on the code that comes up is the EGR Valve is malfunctioning. I got a resopnse that fords and known for the dpfe sensor going bad. Where is it located? What should I use to clean it? Thanks for you help :wink:

Can't realy clean it. You can clean the EGR and it's port with carb cleaner and an old tooth brush. If that does not work check or have the DPFE sensor checked and replaced if necessary.
