Suspension problem
1965 Ford Mustang V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual ? miles

I'm trying to put a 351C in my fastback. The engine mounts do line up, the only problem is that the engine is too wide to fit all the way down. Is there anything i can do besides knock in the fender wells or cut them out. I really would do something other than that. The suspension goes into the wells which is the main reason i do not wanna do this. Any ideas?

Hi there,

well there is just a limit to what will fit in the engine bay, if the only way is to do the inner walls maybe get a panel shop to look at re modeling the inner wally so that the engine will fit, this may cost more than it is worth but i think that this is the only way to go.
