where is cabin air filter located

I'm finding conflicting information.
One book is saying it's under the Hood, on the passenger side right about under the wiper blade.

but other sources are suggesting that you had to buy a kit and add it to the system.
this add on kit had you cut out a slit under the glove box
the kit number is F65Z-18D477-AA
